With 19 years of experience and hundreds of trained participants, I know that many people already have the eye and sensitivity of a decorator - they just need the right structure, guidance and practice to bring it out.

How the day unfolds

What does the workshop day look like?

We begin with inspiration drawn from some of the most beautiful decorative interiors and wall finishes.

Then I introduce the key theory behind each technique: how decorative plasters are applied, which tools are needed and how the final effects are built.

Step by step you learn how to create finishes such as pearl velvet, lime-based effects, aged wall textures, stencil work and tinted structure.

We work on sample boards, and you take your own handmade practice pieces home with you.

During the workshop I show the small process details that make the difference between a random result and a refined decorative finish.

Bring clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes. Materials and tools are provided, and there is also coffee, tea, water and a small snack on site.
